2.15 MWh Energy Storage System
An energy storage system with a total storage capacity of 2.15 MWh and an installed capacity of 1.1 MW has been installed at Gerbera United in Moerkapelle.
The installation is designed for both in-house energy consumption and grid balancing and is connected to the balancing market via EOS. This allows Gerbera United to respond flexibly to its own energy profile and actively contribute to the stability of the Dutch electricity grid. The system increases control over energy flows and supports more efficient and future-proof energy management.
