A suitable roof has sufficient load-bearing capacity, is preferably south-facing or east/west-facing, and has little shading. We always perform a roof scan to map this out.

In most cases, solar panels on a commercial roof are permit-free. However, we always check whether specific requirements apply within your municipality or at your location.

By storing energy, you can better manage consumption and generation. This helps with grid congestion and increases your independence from the power grid. In addition, you do not pay transport costs or energy tax to the energy company or grid operator. When the energy system is also linked to a charging system, Renewable Fuel Units (HBEs) can also be obtained, generating additional income.

Solar panels have a lifespan of at least 25 years. Most manufacturers therefore provide a product warranty of 10–15 years and a performance warranty of 25 years. After 25 years, the panels still produce energy, but with a slightly lower yield. The inverter typically has a shorter lifespan of 10–15 years and must be replaced in the interim. With proper maintenance, you can benefit from your investment for decades.
