1,810 Solar Panels
Bata Energy Solutions has realized a floating solar park with 1,810 solar panels on the water basin at Kwekerij Kraaiennest in Andijk. This installation delivers a significant amount of sustainable energy annually, without the need for additional land area. Thanks to smart technology, natural cooling and stable anchoring, this project is a prime example of space efficiency and energy yield.
Why Kwekerij Kraaiennest chose floating solar panels
For Kwekerij Kraaiennest, the water basin lay unused while energy costs rose. By installing solar panels on the water surface, the company was able to become more sustainable without compromising existing business functions or expansion possibilities on land. The choice for floating solar panels offered a double benefit: sustainable generation and less algae growth and evaporation in the basin.
A fully integrated system
Bata realized a total solution with 1,810 high-quality solar panels, mounted on Connectum’s modular ClicFloat system. The installation is stably anchored with Albers Alligator’s Multi-F system, which is specially designed for safety and durability on water. The installation is future-proof, quiet, low-maintenance and meets the highest technical standards.
