1 MWh Energy Storage System

An energy storage system has been installed at Van den Broek in Lienden with the aim of supporting the local energy system. The installation consists of a total installed capacity of 500 kW and a storage capacity of 1 MWh (100% DoD).

The system is used for self-consumption and grid balancing, helping to better match the available power to the energy demand. An EMS is used to control the battery modules.

The system supports more stable energy consumption and offers opportunities to optimize energy flows locally.
