Van Tuijl Feed Enrichment, an agricultural company in Kesteren specializing in the enrichment of animal feed, has recently begun producing more than 1.1 million kWh of sustainable energy per year. Thanks to an installation of 2,928 solar panels on the sandwich panel roof of their premises, the company reduces its annual CO₂ emissions by 503 tons and significantly lowers its energy costs. Van Tuijl wanted to utilize the extensive roof surface to generate its own energy.
